BACK
Sample details

A controlled, prospective, 2-year cohort observational study was conducted to test whether weekly geriatric questions delivered through Twitter Poll could improve geriatrics knowledge during an internal medicine clerkship for third-year medical students. Students were tested at the start and end of their internal medicine rotations. The cohort consisted of 78 third-year medical students, with 42 males (53.8%) and 36 females (46.2%). Of the cohort, 92% identified as white.
