INTREPID II is a multi-site research study investigating the variability in incidence, presentation, outcome, and impact of psychotic disorders in Trinidad and Tobago, India, and Nigeria. In the current study (Trinidad and Tobago), participants are from Diego Martin, Port of Spain, San Juan/Laventille, Tunapuna/Piarco, Arima, Chaguanas, and Sangre Grande. Participants were identified using a network of case detection systems through service providers, spiritual and traditional healers, and community informants. Over 570 participants completed the baseline data collection.
