Sample details

The IOMH study aimed to investigate the risk factors of mental health problems in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Between 2018 and 2023, a total of 1084 families with a child aged 2-18 years old were recruited from the Child Development Program at the Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane, Australia. The children were predominantly male (71%), with the average age of all children 5.6 years. After the baseline assessment, conducted as part of routine clinical practice, the children and their caregivers were followed up every 6 months for up to four timepoints.
