Indian Study of Healthy Ageing (ISHA - Barshi)

ISHA - Barshi recruited individuals from the 362 villages and three towns of Warshi, Bhum, and Paranda in the Barshi locality in Solapur District of Maharashtra State in western India. Eligible participants were between 30 and 69 years old and residents of the study area. At baseline, the cohort considered of over 219,000 participants in 119,387 households.
