Sample details

J-ADNI was launched in 2008, aiming at conducting a longitudinal workup of a standardized neuroimaging, biomarker, and clinico-psychological surveys. At baseline, the project included over 530 participants who had either normal cognition (CN), late amnestic mild cognitive impairment (LMCI), or mild Alzheimer's disease (AD). Participants were volunteers between the ages of 60 and 84 years, and were enrolled across 38 participating clinical sites throughout Japan. from August 2008 to April 2012. The research protocol was designed to maximise compatibility with US-ADNI, the United States branch of the initiative.
