JAKids is a birth cohort study conducted in Jamaica to improve the health, developmental and behavioral outcomes for Jamaican children. The study recruited pregnant women expected to give birth between July and September 2011 across all fourteen parishes in Jamaica. The cohort consisted of over 9700 babies and their parents.
