JIA investigated how school problems affected the biopsychosocial adjustment and emotional well-being of Chinese-American adolescents in Michigan and Illinois, United States of America. The study recruited 95 parent-child dyads with children between 11 and 18 years old from Champaign, Illinois, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Participants were followed up daily for 2 weeks.
