The JLMPS is part of a series of labor market panel surveys carried out by the Economic Research Forum in several Arab countries since 1998. These surveys have, so far, been carried out in Egypt (1998, 2006, 2012), Jordan (2010, 2016), and Tunisia (2014). The JLMPS 2010 sample captured 5,102 households and 25,953 individuals. The JLMPS 2016 sample is made up of 7,229 households, including 3,058 that were part of the original 2010 sample, 1,221 split households, and 2,950 refresher households. The JLMPS 2016 sample captured a total of 33,450 individuals.
