The KEEP collected data on the transition from school to work in South Korea. The study recruited 2,000 students aged around 15 years in the 3rd year of junior high school and 4,000 students aged around 18 years in the 3rd year of high school. In the 4th follow up in 2007, 1,495 students from the 3rd year of junior high school were added. In 2010, an additional 757 male college graduates were added to the cohort. Participants were followed up annually from 2004 to 2015 through structured surveys involving students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.
