Kinmen Neurological Disorders Survey (KINDS)

KINDS aimed to conduct a comprehensive survey of neurologic and psychiatric disorders including dementia, essential tremor, stroke, depression, and Parkinson’s disease. At baseline, almost 4,000 participants aged 50 years and older on Kinmen Island, Taiwan completed neurological examinations. Subsets of participants have been followed up until 1997.
