Korean Radiation Workers Study (KRWS)

The KRWS is a large-scale national cohort study of radiation workers, including retired and newly hired workers, across South Korea. Baseline data collection occurred from May 2016 to June 2017, with over 20,000 Korean radiation workers enrolled at educational institutions where all workers receive radiation safety education. The cohort was expanded in 2022 to include new workers as well as retired workers, with over 195,000 workers included in the cohort.
