The Central Finland Biobank is part of the FinnGen biobank consortium. All residents of Finland of legal age (18 years and over) have the right to participate in biobank research. Providing the sample is voluntary and is based on provided written consent. Participants are recruited through attending Keski-Suomen Sairaala Nova (Central Finland Hospital Nova), or by returning a consent form online.
