KCYPS 2018 is a longitudinal, follow-up survey to the Korean Youth Panel Survey 2003 (conducted from 2003 to 2008, KYPS 2003) and the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2010 (conducted from 2010 to 2016, KCYPS 2010). The panel that completed the first survey in 2018 consisted of just over 5,000 students. The sample for KCYPS 2018 was extracted using a multi-stratified cluster sampling method from the population of 4th grade elementary school students and 1st grade middle school students nationwide as of 2018.
