The LINA study investigates how environmental factors in the prenatal and postnatal period influence immune system development and the resulting disease risks. Between 2006 and 2008, the study recruited over 600 mother-child dyads in Leipzig, Germany. Mothers were assessed during pregnancy, and the dyads have been followed up for 10 years.
