Sample details

The LONG cohort includes a total of over 450 participants, 271 of which are males, with 339 typically developing children and adolescents, and 119 youth with an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis. All participants had two anatomic magnetic resonance imaging (aMRI) tests. The mean age of the first scan was 11.47 years and the mean age of the second scan was 16.13 years. Based on parent-reported race/ethnicity, there were 404 European Americans, 31 African Americans, 8 Asian Americans, and 15 participants of mixed race. The sample included 146 sibling pairs (137 pairs of full siblings, and 9 pairs of half siblings).
