The study aimed to examine children's psychosocial development in the context of persistent ethno-political violence. Participants were child-parent dyads in Israel and Palestine who were interviewed four times. This included 600 Palestinian, 451 Israeli Jewish and 450 Israeli Arab dyads in which children were 8, 11 or 14 years at baseline assessment in 2007. Two further waves were conducted annually. A fourth wave with a subsample of the original participants was conducted between 2014 and 2015.
