The Lowairpoa DSS was established in the Lowairpoa Block of Karimganj District, India, to evaluate pregnancy risk factors and their association with adverse pregnancy and infant outcomes. Over 150,000 individuals from 32,532 households within the catchment area were enrolled in the Lowairpoa DSS. Baseline data was collected from July 2021 to May 2022, with a follow-up round conducted from May 2023 to September 2023. Quarterly pregnancy surveillance rounds were also completed between the 2 rounds of data collection.
