LSAHP has collected a wide range of data from about 6,000 older people nationwide, as well as their children and caregivers in the Philippines. The baseline survey covered almost 6,000 older persons aged 60 years and over. The survey employed a multistage sampling design, with provinces as the primary sampling units, barangays as the secondary sampling units, and older persons as the ultimate sampling units. The survey was conducted from October 2018 to February 2019. Follow-up interviews were conducted after 2 years.
