The MABC study is a population-based pregnancy and birth cohort of over 3,400 pregnant women and their single-born children in Ma'anshan, Anhui Province, China. Participants were recruited between May 2013 and September 2014 at their first prenatal care visit at the Ma'anshan Maternal and Child Healthcare Center, with data on the new-borns first collected immediately after birth.
