Sample details

The Madagascar Life Course Transition of Young Adults Survey was conducted in 2011 - 2012 with a sample of young adults and their households from Madagascar. This survey re-interviewed 1,749 young adults aged 21 to 24 years, who were previously surveyed when they were young adolescents (13 to 17 years old) in 2004 - 2005 with a household- and school-level survey (Progression through School and Academic Performance in Madagascar Study, or EPSPAM). The sample covers 73 rural and urban communities in Madagascar, geographically located in the six regions of the country.
