The Mamma & Bambino study aims to explore the effect of preconception, perinatal, and early life exposure on maternal and infant health. Since 2014, pregnant women receiving prenatal genetic counselling in Catania, Italy, have been recruited and assessed at the 4th to 20th gestational weeks. Information on mothers and their children is also collected at delivery, one year after delivery, and two years after delivery.
