Sample details

The MAMMI Study aimed to investigate the health and health problems of women during pregnancy and during the first year after the birth of their first baby. The MAMMI participants are women, aged 18 and over, who are having their first baby and attending the Coombe Hospital, Ireland. The women complete six surveys: the first survey during pregnancy and the second antenatal survey at around 7 or 8 months pregnant (about 28 to 36 weeks). The other four surveys took place at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months after birth. Survey 1 was completed by above 1,800 women.
