Sample details

The MARIANNE cohort follows children at risk of autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Pregnant women with at least one child diagnosed with autism and their families were recruited from the areas surrounding Lille, Lyon, Montpellier, Toulouse, Rouen, and Saint-Étienne in France. At baseline, the study recruited 1,200 families with an autistic child and 500 families without an autistic child for comparison.
