matCCNP is one of three cohorts in the first phase of the Chinese Color Nest Project, which aimed to map the development trajectories of brains across the lifespan. In 2015, matCCNP recruited adults aged 18 to 60 years from Chongqing and Beijing in China. Participants were divided into 14 age cohorts, each 3.25 years apart, with 20 men and 20 women in each cohort. In total, matCCNP included over 500 participants. Participants were followed up 3 times, with 39 months between each wave or until the first phase of the Chinese Color Nest Project concluded in 2022.
