The MDCRC is a multi-center prospective observational cohort study investigating early-onset mood disorders in South Korea. Nearly 500 patients were recruited from March 2015 and April 2019, on a convenience basis, from both outpatient clinics and psychiatric wards across 8 hospitals in South Korea. Participants are either aged below 35 years and treated for less than two years with the diagnosis of mood disorders, or below the age of 25 years and diagnosed with mood disorders. The participants are evaluated using baseline assessments and serial follow-up assessments at 3-month intervals.
