The MICASA study aimed to investigate the occupational and environmental health risks in hired farm workers. Participants came from over 460 households of Mexican and Central American farm workers in Mendota, California, United States of America. At least one household member was required to be engaged in farm work, and participants were aged 18 to 55. Over 800 participants completed baseline interviews from 2006 to 2007, and a follow-up took place from 2008 to 2010.
