The Milan Geriatrics 75+ Cohort Study is a prospective, hospital-based cohort study involving over 1,500 Geriatric Unit outpatients of the IRCCS Ca’ Granda hospital in Milan, Italy. Participants were enrolled after their first comprehensive assessment visit at the hospital between January 2000 and March 2004, and subsequently followed-up for 10 years. At baseline, around 70% of the cohort were female and the average age was 82 years.
