The MOTWIN aims to investigate the genetic and environmental factors contributing to ADHD. Participants were recruited from the Missouri Twin Registry in 1998, including of twins born between 1979 and 1991. The study comprises 1,630 male and female twins, with participants ranging in age from 7 to 19 years at the time of recruitment. Follow-ups are conducted periodically.
