MOZZA-BC aimed to assess the distribution of breast cancer subtypes in Mozambique and their impact on patients’ treatment and survival. The study recruited over 260 women who were diagnosed with breast cancer between 2015 and 2017 via three central hospitals in Mozambique (Maputo, Beira and Nampula). Prospective data collection was completed in 2018, with survival data collected via linkage, and final telephone interviews completed in November 2019.
