NCHAT is a nationally-representative study of cohabiting and married individuals aged 20 to 60 years in the United States. The cohort includes over 3,600 main respondents in a same- or different-gender couple, and approximately 1,500 of their spouses or partners, who reported living together most of the time. The study took place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
