The NIMROD study aims to understand the role of inflammation in several forms of dementia, memory loss, and depression. The study recruited 145 participants in a sample of participants over 50 years of age in England, United Kingdom. Participants were recruited into one of the seven following diagnostic cohorts: healthy control, Alzheimer's disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment, Lewy body dementia, progressive supranuclear palsy, frontotemporal dementia syndromes, and current or recent diagnosis of late-life depression.
