Sample details

The NLGP is a general population cohort focused on the characterisation of the population of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada. The NLGP cohort consists of the initial 2,500 participants for whom medical histories and saliva samples were obtained. The NLGP was based on the random recruitment of participants from general practice clinics across the province who were 18 years of age and over, possessed a valid Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) health card, and provided written consent.
