The NOCDA study follows over 400 patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) referred to a mental health care centre for evaluation and treatment in the Netherlands. Participants were aged 18 and above at baseline with a lifetime diagnosis of OCD determined by administration of the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I Disorders. Recruitment took place between September 2005 and November 2009, with participants contacted five times within a six-year period.
