The Oman Lupus Study is a mutlicenter study of 1,160 patients with systematic lupus erythematous (SLE), an autoimmune disorder associated with significant morbidity and mortality. All Omani paediatric and adult SLE patients admitted in all rheumatology centers across Oman between January 2006 and February 2020 were included in the study, with data obtained from electronic medical records. The sample consists of 87.7% females, with an overall mean age of 33 years.
