Sample details

OncoLifeS is a hospital-based cancer data-biobank, based at the University Medical Center Groningen, Netherlands. It is linked to routinely collected clinical data with preserved biological specimens and quality of life assessments. The OncoLifeS data-biobank has been designed to facilitate cancer research by providing clear phenotypic and genotypic data in a clinical context. As of October 24th, 2019, 3,704 patients with cancer were included in the OncoLifeS data-biobank. Inclusion in the OncoLifeS data-biobank is prospective and on an ongoing basis. All adult patients (age > 18 years) diagnosed with cancer or with a genetically increased risk of cancer are included, without further exclusion criteria.
