The Oulu1935 study aims to examine the health and ageing process of individuals born in Oulu, Finland, in 1935. The study began in 1990, including 831 participants aged 55 years at the time. Participants were followed up between 1996 and 1997, with 593 participants taking part in this phase. A subsequent follow-up was conducted between 2007 and 2008, including 537 participants.
