Sample details

The PAMELA study originally aimed to determine the normality of home and ambulatory blood pressure (BP) value and has since provided data on the prognostic value of the various types of BP measurement. Over 2,000 adults aged 25 to 74 years in Monza, Italy, completed baseline assessment from 1990 to 1993, including an interview and medical examination. Participants undertook a follow-up medical examination 10 years later and were followed up with linked mortality data after 12 years.
