Pollution and Asthma Risk: an Infant Study (PARIS)

The PARIS birth cohort investigated environmental and behavioural factors associated with respiratory and allergic disorder occurrence in early childhood. Between 2003 and 2006, the study recruited over 3,800 healthy babies and their mothers from five maternity hospitals in Paris, France. Participants were followed up every three months for the first year, at 18 months, and every year until the children were 8 to 9 years old, with planned follow-up until the children were 14 years old.
