The Parkinson@Home study recruited patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) from the Netherlands, Canada and the United States of America (USA). In the Netherlands, eligible participants were at least 30 years old and diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD) by a physician and able to walk without assistance. In Canada and the USA, eligible participants were recruited from the existing Fox Insight Online Study and were at least 18 years old at the time of recruitment. All participants were required to have possession of an Android smartphone in order to participate in the wearable component of the cohort. At baseline the cohort consisted of over 950 participants.
