Sample details

PERFORM-AKI is a multicentre prospective cohort study involving 639 hospitalised non-ICU patients diagnosed with acute kidney injury (AKI) across five kidney services in New South Wales, Australia. The study aims to describe and identify risk factors and outcomes in patients diagnosed with AKI outside the ICU setting. Participants were recruited between February 2021 and October 2023 at the time of initial renal consultation. Follow-up occurred once, either at day 14 or at hospital discharge, whichever came first.
