Parkinsonism: Incidence and cognitive heterogeneity in Cambridgeshire (PICNICS)

The PICNICS study recruited 299 patients with Parkinson’s disease between 2008 and 2013, and is following them up every 18 months with clinical assessments, cognitive assessments, and biological sampling. At baseline, participants were adults over 18, had new onset Parkinson's disease meeting UKPDS Brain Bank Criteria, and were a resident in Cambridgeshire, England (United Kingdom). No participant had a dementia diagnosis at baseline.
