Prognosis of IntraCerebral Haemorrhage (PITCH)

The PITCH study is an observational cohort study that recruited patients from November 2004 to April 2009. Data was prospectively collected on all adults admitted as emergencies in the Lille University Hospital in Lille, France, for acute stroke who had parenchymal haemorrhage on the computed tomographic scan performed at admission. The resulting cohort at baseline consisted of 562 patients, with a median age of 72 years.
