This is an ongoing community-based cohort in Haidian District of Beijing, China. The initial objective was to evaluate the impact of early exposure to environmental pollution on pregnant outcomes. The study started recruitment since January 2017. Pregnant women aged equal or above 18 years, gestational week below 14 weeks, were eligible for recruitment from Maternal and Child Health Hospital in the district. From October 2017 to October 2018, a total of 2731 pregnant women were recruited initially. Apart from basic information on demographics and regular physical examinations, bio-samples from the pregnant women were also collected, in order to examine environmental relevant bio-markers and genetic susceptibility.
