The PROTECT Study is a longitudinal study hosted through an online platform that enables the annual assessment of cognitive function, lifestyle and medical history. The study follows participants who are over the age of 40 years (originally 50 years), live in the UK, have a good working understanding of English and are able to use a computer with Internet access. The online platform enables interested individuals to register for participation into the study if they meet the defined eligibility criteria.
