Caregivers of patients undergoing HCT at Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States were recruited 2 to 4 weeks before the patient admission. The caregivers were aged over 18 years, were a relative or a friend who either lives with the patient or has in-person contact with him or her at least twice per week, and is identified as the primary caregiver for transplant. These participants were contacted weekly for qualitative interview regarding the caregiver experience of the treatment.
