Pulmolines is a multi-cohort initiative designed to investigate risk factors and genes related to the onset, course, and remission of respiratory diseases. The ANTARCTICA cohort recruited adults from across the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, aged at least 45 years old, with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). At baseline in 2015, over 300 participants were included in the cohort. Participants were followed up until 2019, when the ANTARCTICA cohort ended.
