QLSKC is a population-based prospective longitudinal study of individuals since kindergarten (age 5-6 years). The cohort includes 2,000 children representative of the population and 1,017 children exhibiting disruptive behaviour problems who were attending French-speaking public schools in the Canadian province of Quebec during the 1986–87 and 1987–88 school years. The study has also involved participants' parents and the first children of participants, capturing three generations. Participants have been followed up 12 times between 1986 and 2010.
