Sample details

The QTAB study aims to investigate structural and functional changes and developmental processes in the adolescent brain. Participants were recruited from Australian twin registries and advertisements and lived within two hours of the study centre in Brisbane, Australia. Around 200 families with twins (422 participants in total) aged 9 to 13 were assessed at baseline from 2017 to 2019. A second wave of data collection took place from 2019 to 2021, and the study plans to follow up participants three times.
