Sample details

R-LiNK is an international prospective cohort study following participants with bipolar-I-disorder for around 24 months to assess their response to lithium treatment. Participants were recruited from the collaborative network of centres across 8 countries: Denmark, France, England, Germany, Norway, Italy, Spain and Sweden. Each centre recruited 4-24 participants with a confirmed diagnosis of bipolar-I-disorder who agreed to commence a trial of lithium treatment following a recommendation by their treating clinician.
