The RAMQ databases track the health service use of over people in Québec, Canada. The databases include all residents of Québec who have registered for a health card since 1969, excluding people who have resided outside of Quebec for more than 183 days and non-Canadian students. The databases continue to expand as new people are born in or migrate to Québec and are registered for health cards. As of 2024, the databases included over 8 million people. Residents are followed up continuously through routinely collected and administrative data from health system management and healthcare provider payment services.
